Lloyd & Carie have been teaching in Las Vegas for the past 14 years in both elementary and middle school. Carie has primarily taught 2nd grade before transitioning to middle school math and science. Born and raised in Las Vegas, and a graduate of the UNLV Hotel School, Carie spent years in hospitality before earning a masters degree in elementary education and making a drastic career change. After previous careers in politics and property management Lloyd taught several grade levels in elementary school before moving to 7th grade ELA, and works currently as a Student Success Advocate (dean) in middle school. They met when their principal moved them into classrooms next to each other, and have been married for a little over a year and have a blended family of 5 kids between the ages of 3-11.
