Globetrottin’ ADs – S3E5 – Truth Based Athletics
Nick and Matt are joined by Chris McCallum, an experienced international school teacher and coach who had developed his own leadership program. Truth Based Athletics is for anyone who wants more for and from their students and as Athletic Directors and Coaches that is often at the top of our wish lists.
Through his own struggles of consistently trying to deliver a positive athletics experience in his roles as a coach and AD, Chris started developing his leadership framework though mentorship and Truth Based Athletics was born. Chris shares which values his curriculum is based in as well as a very personal story about an ex student. In our international world of comings and goings a set leadership program for an entire program could go a long way and leadership is not only athletics based but has roots and all aspects of life.
Nick and Matt not only find out all the ins and outs of Truth Based Athletics but also have a great conversation about what leadership is and isn’t and how it could fit into our busy schedules.
