Colegio Jorge Washington is a private, coeducational day school which offers an educational program for 18 months children (Circle Time) through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. English language instruction begins in pre-kindergarten as a program of instruction for children with little or no English language capability. The school was founded in 1952. The school year runs from early August until late June.
The School is governed by a 8-member Board of Directors elected to 3-year terms by the Colegio Jorge Washington Parents Association, which sponsors the School. Membership in the Association is automatically conferred on the parents or guardians of children enrolled in the School.
